We are thankful!

It was the perfect summer evening.  The moon hung like a lullaby in the evening sky over Prouty Plaza in Troy Ohio.  The July weather was perfect compared to days gone by.

Berachah Valley was thrilled and honor to be able to perform for several hundred people, as fans carried in their lawn chairs from near and far.

It was amazing evening.  One we will cherish for years to come. Thanks to The Troy Hayner House and The Troy Foundation for allowing us the outstanding opportunity to share our music.

The Old Mill Bluegrass Festival

Saturday, July 10th, kicked off the 15th Annual Old Mill Bluegrass Festival in West Liberty, Kentucky which was a two day event.  Over the past years, some of the biggest names in the bluegrass music industry have graced the stage in Old Mill Park - Dr. Ralph Stanley, Lonesome River Band, Mountain Heart, The Dillards, Third Tyme Out, The Osborne Brothers, Larry Sparks, The Grascals and others.

Last year, Berachah Valley was the opening band for Blue Highway on Staturday and Paul Williams and The Victory Trio the following Sunday.
 
This year the Old Mill Festival Committee was excited and pleased to bring Rhonda Vincent and the Rage to the stage as the headliner band.  She was on hand for two shows on Saturday.

 
Many local bands  performed as well, and church and civic groups had food booths, with great food, including soup beans and corn bread, fish sandwiches, charbroiled hamburgers and hotdogs, funnel cakes, and much more!  Funds received go to people in need and to assist sick children.

In addition to Rhonda Vincent, Berachah Valley shared the weekend with Don Rigsby and Midnight Call, The Katie Penn Band, Bille Renee and Cumberland  Gap, and many others.

We were pleased to share the stage with Jr Williams, as he played the banjo and guitar for several tunes!  Thanks Jr....what a riot!

The Old Mill Bluegrass Festival was an exciting event for us to be invited to. It was  held in West Liberty, Kentucky which is a charming small town, neslted in the heart of Morgan County, located  within 20 miles  of Cave Run Lake, in the hills of Eastern Kentucky with a population of just over 3000 folks.

Berachah Valley spent Sunday morning prior to our performance at "The Old Mill Bluegrass Festival" worshiping with the wonderful folks at "The West Liberty Christian Church".  The 11:00 worship service was certainly one we will recall for quite some time.  The spirit was precious and hearts were tender.  We would like to thank the fine members of "The West Liberty Christian Church" for their kindness, love and generosity.
